Christine came for a piano lesson with Elliot and brought her family along.
We donated an art party to the 3 highest bidders. Winners were Charlie, Apollo & Evie. The paper mache was a bust but the shrinky dinks and pretzel-caramel butterflies were fun. Best was the picnic in the front yard and games with the Mylods.
Even though Jordan started sleeping with Elliot in the bunk beds connected side-to-side shortly after she turned 3, she continued to nap in her crib. It just made sense. Elliot would nap in his room and she would nap in hers. Slowly, Elliot's room because "Elliot & Jordan's room" and Jordan's room was sometimes called Simon's room. When Jordan started afternoon Pre-K in the fall, she had to give up most of her naps but when she did nap on weekends, it was still in here. But then suddenly, these naps stopped and the few that happened were in her & Elliot's bed. Somehow, I sensed this nap in February was the last in the crib so I snapped a couple of pictures. I guess it's silly that an almost 5-year old would nap in a crib but it never seemed that way until it ended.

UPDATE:
Oops. Humidity wasn't high enough so the eggs fully developed and then didn't hatch. Ugh. So we're giving it another try. New hatch date: April 12.
We just finished a terrible round of sickness - starting with Andy & Simon, then onto Jordan (who is a great patient) and ending with Elliot (also a pretty good patient) who had it the worst. Elliot's fever etc. dragged on for 9 terrible days! He finally kicked it, just in time for another visit from Doda Neeli.
